Yes, warm in color AND warm in weight! I have finished this, but this is the best picture I have of it in detail. Only having to pay attention to every 7th row was a big plus and it shocked me with it's complexity of appearance. Hand dyed alpaca from Blue Moon.

I just joined this blog, so I'm uploading everything I've done from these two books so far. This particular scarf was knit from a really expensive alpaca that was a bit of a "accident" purchase. I wasn't aware of the skein price until it was too late to un-love it.

I knit this out of Cascade Lana D'oro, not realizing it was discountinued. Of course I was short on yarn, but as the capelet neared completion, I scored a couple of skeins on Ebay in just the right colorway. I loved working on this and know I'll be wearing it for years to come.
