An only slightly-late Christmas present -- Backyard Leaves, done in a wonderfully soft Filatura di Amigo cashmere/silk blend.
I could never let my mind wander while knitting this, as I would almost always lose my place, but in the end it was worth it!

Hi! I am new to this KAL, and have just finished an inexact Ruffles replica as a Christmas Gift. I did it with Classic Elite Lush, three skeins. It's shorter than the pattern, but just as cute. It was a lot of fun to knit, and I love the Lush knit up; very soft and snuggly stuff. I used it to teach myself to 'knit backwards' to eliminate turning my needles every row. Very functional skill to have, and not as hard to learn as I expected.Labels: Ruffles Scarf

happened to have a great yarn for it and b/c I know my mother will LOVE it...and it is something I can knit while watching TV/when my 16mo DS is playing happily by himeself but can interrupt me at any second! I am using TouchYarns mohair, a NZ company product I discovered at the Alexandra Palace Knitting and Stitching Show this year....I really like it, and I don't usually like mohair!Labels: Misty Garden

I'm looking forward to doing the Touch Me scarf and Lady Eleanor as my next projects from Scarf Style. I still don't know what I'll do first from Wrap Style.Labels: Ruffles Scarf
