Lady Eleanor at 4
Hi everyone! This is my first post to the knitalong, though I've been lurking for months drooling over all your finished projects from this nifty book. My first project is Lady Eleanor in Noro Silk Garden in #82. These photos were taken in the middle of the fourth ball (click for larger view):

This pattern is WONDERFUL. It's a perfect showcase for a yarn with the texture and color changes of Silk Garden (and especially for the spendy La Lana Forever Random Blend called for). I'm in love with this Lady already.

That looks really beautiful. The entrelac structure really intrigues me, I may give it a go sometime. Thanks for showing the back too, it helps me visualise it better. It seems to be eating up the yarn though!

hi jessica! your lady eleanor is absolutely gorgeous... but how many skeins of silk garden would it use? my friend and I were admiring that exact colorway of silk garden yesterday!

i bought a 10 skein bag of silk garden on sale from little knits. it seems like most people who've made this with SG have used 9-10 skeins. like this one, for example:
