Interlocking Balloons

Here is the Father's Day Gift to my husband.

Yarn:
Araucania Nature Wool (100% wool, 100g, color: #11) 2 skeins
habu silk mohair (A-32-9) in chacoal gray, 1.5oz

Pattern:
Interlocking Balloons from scarf style

Close up photo is here:

I used silk mohair to make it a bit more fluffy. It looks a bit heavier than the one in the book, but I wanted to try this araucania yarn to see how this subtle variation in color was going to come out. I was happy when my hubby said "I can't wait to wear this!!"

How about another?

I just finished my Misty Garden too! But I call mine Mossy Garden. It fits in very well here in Washington state. I loved this pattern and I think it's perfect for this yarn. I also used Rare Comfort Mohair Infusion. Thanks for letting me share it!

Finished my Misty Garden too!

I finally finished! I can't even tell you how long it took me....I don't know why it took me so long! Love the pattern, love the yarn...... but I think I was a little bored with it, and knowing that I wouldn't wear it for months slowed me down. I used the Jo Sharp Rare Comfort Mohair, about 2 3/4 skeins.

This is my second project from Scarf Style....my first was Midwest Moonlight. Next up is either Blue Collar or Ruffles. I have 3 skeins of Rowan Cork that my Secret Pal sent me....mmmmm

Actually, it's been finished for a while, but I'm just now getting around to taking pictures of it. Here it is:

I used Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride in Onyx. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It's very warm and cozy.

Finished Vintage Velvet

I finished Vintage Velvet. I made it in Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk in Dark Red I guess is the color. I used a step up from the size needle called for. I used circulars instead of straights. It was my first time work with cricular needles. This was a very fun scarf to knit. It was also my first time doing cables and now I love cables. :) I don't have a picture because I gave it to my Mom for her birthday and she took it and ran with it so to speak. She's hidden it or something bc I can't seem to find it. But when I do I'll post a picture. :)

Ruffles Scarf

hi, i just joined this KAL. i finished the ruffles scarf and here is the photo:

i used three skeins of Classic Elite Premiere. The book says you need four skeins, but I thought three was enough.

And now, i am working on Interlocking Balloons with Araucania Nature Wool #11 (gray-navy bluish color), with habu's silk-mohair. It looks a lot different from the one on the book, I guess it's because the texture/color of the yarn is so different.
