ZigZag Stripes or Chevron Scarf

Thanks to the help of a friend with a scanner, I am finally able to contribute on a completed piece here!

I used left over baby blanket yarn and made the color changes randomly. Sorry, I no longer have the yarn information. I thought it needed a spot of color and, with my husband's help, found the perfect shade of yellow that would pop.

I'm not a fan of the bobbles at the end, though. I'd leave them off next time.

Zigzag Stripes

Pattern: Zigzag Stripes
Needles: US 5
Yarn: Peruvian Collection Quechua, from Elann
65% Alpaca, 35% Tencel
2 balls for the scarf plus a 3rd ball just for the trim
Finished Size: 4.5 inches wide, 60 inches long

This is the child's version, 39 stitches. The yarn is a pretty color but it is just barely soft enough for a scarf. It is really not the best use of either the yarn or the pattern but overall, it is nice enough.
