Sheltland Lace Shawl.
Hello knitters! It's been a while, but I am still here....watching you all knit the fabulous patterns from scarfstyle and wrapstyle.
I started the Sheltland Lace Shawl...

So far so good. The pattern is quite simple, and is just gorgeous. I am using Regia Silk...more on the blog.

Ohhh... lovely. I've got yarn for that one too. Yet another of the summer projects. Yours looks fantastic! Can't wait to see it when it's done!

How beautiful. How do you get such nice stitch definition before you finish?
I just started mine and it is all bunched up. Once figuring out the CO it is not too hard. Thanks for the tutorial!

Mari, I just stretched it out on the couch and pinned it to get a look at the pattern...nothing more than that!

If I had read more carefully, I would have realized that it is not pale pink . . . but pale pink would be lovely too! Anyway, you have inspired me to attempt lace knitting. We'll see how it goes.

You are right, if you strench and pin the shawl out, it will look like little fir cone. In your blog, before you cast off, the fir cones are all bunched up too. So you are not a magician after all, and the shawl looks so classy on you. Hand knitted lace pattern is so lovely, I have never seen anything like that avalible in the department stores.
