finally

i finally have a scarf to show you ... i can't believe you people who've said ruffles was a quick knit! i am so impressed by you - this has got to be the longest i've ever taken to knit a scarf! in the end, i gave up after only two balls of yarn and 100cm of ruffles (as opposed to the 218.5cm as instructed in the pattern).

i like my scarves shorter anyway ... and it's still wearable, so i'm happy! plus i finished it before the scarf-wearing season is over, which i probably wouldn't if i were to make it longer ...

happy scarf styling!

I finished knitting up a ruffle scarf but the pattern is a bit different. It only took 4 hours.

I loved your scarf! Don't worry about the length. I have knitted it with larger needles (10) making it wide and much shorter just having it tied around the neck to frame the face. I believe you can do what you want and not worry about making it exact! I have made 5 so far....and plan to make more for Christmas this year. I always get comments on mine scarf as people seem to be bored with the large looped fuzzy scarves and want something that is different!
