Velvet

My vintage velvet is finally finished. I'd have to rank this among my favorite knitted items. I wrote more about it and put up more pictures on my blog.

Now... for the next scarf.

Hey All, Regarding the design notebook: on p. 130, Ms. Allen has 3 samples of a lace pattern, worked in 3 yarns. I've been looking for this pattern (as I love it!). Any suggestions as to which book it came from?
    Thanks!

Also, Ssk instructions shown on p.79: The author asks the knitter to "slip sts ind. kwise, return these to left N, & K2tog thru back loop". Doesn't this mean the same as all other instructions which want a knitter once sts have been slipped, to: pass left N back thru these sts so that L/N is in front of the R/N (thus knitting thru the back loops)??
