Hi everyone. I've been MIA, and I think knit alongs are not for me. At least, not ones w/o deadlines. When is a procrastinator supposed to finish a project if there's no deadline?
We had a small blizzard here in Colorado yesterday. I thought it would be very apropos to work on my Blizzard shawl. I'm using the same yarn that Scarfstyle suggests, and it's a beaut.

The book says the finished measurements would be about 27.5 inches by about 80 inches. I'm a tight knitter, tight crocheter. I usually use hooks 2 sizes smaller to get gauge. I used the recommended hook (size P), and the finished size (I'll get a pic of it completely finished later... I gotta weave in the ends) is about 40 inches by 85inches. At least. That was before I put the edging on!

In any case, anyone have ideas about how to weave this superbulky yarn into the rest of the shawl? My tapestry needles from Chibi/Clover just aren't gonna do it.
