Linen Backyard Leaves

Thought I could share the beginning of my second project from the book, a Backyard Leaves scarf in Rowan linen drape, unfortunately a discontinued yarn that I received from the yarn club at Strikk Innom. I'm using needles 4mm, so the scarf will be smaller than the pattern designed for needles 4.5mm. The pattern is quite complex and requires counting on both RS and WS, so it's really fun to knit!

I just started backyard leaves also. I agree its a fun knit. Just challenging enough to keep my interest. I'm using the yarn called for in the book - karabella aurora 8 in the olive color. Enjoy knitting your scarf!

Oh, your Backyard Leaves is lovely. I did a few swatches last week so that I would know the needles that I want to use, etc when I start it, which will be the beginning of the week, I'm sure. I found it to be a very, very fun knit. Have fun!
