My Interlocking Balloons



Well, here it is--not blocked yet. It came out exactly the right size, except I actually had to do one less repeat to get the length (and I was out of yarn at that point, anyway-- makes me think the pattern is maybe wrong?).

Yes, it's true, this is exactly the same yarn in exactly the same color as in the book, as requested by the recipient. Recipient does not, happily, have that facial hair, though.

Maine Merino is lovely, by the way. Sort of soft and nubbly and crispy all at the same time. Couldn't afford to make anything larger than a scarf, though..

    I want to make this with the yarn it calls for. Where did you find it?! Did you order it from Maine Merino? Do they sell it in any stores?
