On to the next one....

Hi Guys, Finished Braided Mischief and love it! I am now getting ready to start Misty Garden. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas on a yarn substitute? I can't find the yarn used in the book!! Was thinking about the new mohair yarn from Lion Brand - but really wanting something soft. Who wants a itchy scarf eh? Any ideas on a decent substitute??

The yarn from the book is available at The Knitting Garden (www.knittinggarden.com) - but it might be worth calling ahead, because if you're anxious to cast on now, the order will go through, but you'll only find out after you paid if the yarn you like is on backorder. It's a great mohair, though! (You can check out Misty Garden on my blog - I used the recommended yarn in Earl Grey). Cheers, Anne-Caroline

you can see a pic of my completed scarf in my nov. 2, 2004 entry on my blog. sobsister.typepad.com

it's a really fun and easy scarf to make.
