new the knit-a-long

Hi all

I'm making my second 'here and there cables' scarf. i made the first from jo sharp silkroad aran and it turned out beautifully. that scarf was a gift and now i'm making one for myself. i'm using araucania nature cotton which is a thick/thin yarn so the texture is really different than my first. since this scarf is made out of cotton i'm thinking it will be great in march/april when it's always colder than it should be.

i also started the fair isle jazz scarf but haven't been able to make progress on that for months unfortunately. i got through the first set of fair isle motifs and about half of the cabling but just haven't had time to pick it up again.

i love what everyone is making from this fantastic book!
